How do I get to it? PBfixit.com says its behind a little door inside the battery compartment. That door isn't there. Do I have to take the logic board off?

It takes 578mhz to do one w/u a day. Therefore that would mean an 867mhz would do 1.5 a day (accurate, thats what my PB does) and a 266mhz would do one every 2.1 days, also accurate. Someone compare my equation to their computer. All you do is take your CPU speed and divide it by 578. It *should* give you roughly the w/u you complete in one day.
First off, every work unit is different. Second did you take into account that if SETI runs in Blank screen mode it runs WUs faster? Of course not. I run a B/W G3/300 in blank screen mode and can complete a WU in 20-22 hrs. I have stated before that in Blank screen mode WUs can be crunched much faster than screensaver mode. I figure my WU times by looking at the percentage of WU completion per hour. 300MHz = roughly 5% per hour. 450/466 MHz = roughly 7.5% per hour. 1.25GHz = 16% per hour. Take your 100 and divide by the average completion per hour---100/7.5=13.33hrs.

Nospot has always been my favorite on my idevices but just downloaded TetherMe last night($4.99) and has to be by far my favorite yet. Love surfing on my iPad now instead of the iPhone. 3GUnrestrictor is also a good one if you want to use FaceTime over 3G or download/update larger apps outside of wifi.

I agree CRT's are great for gaming....If you want an LCD check out the viewsonic range they are supposed to be the best for gaming LCD's,

I threw my free case on the trash, I hated the damn thing. Then again I never had the signal bars problem. I now only use my different styles of speck case just for protection of my clumsy hands.

I cant speak for the porsche, but the LaCie d2 is a great drive. I have a 250GB one w/ FW800 and its great. i've had it for 9-10 months now, and it hasnt frozen or crashed on me or anything. It emits a very light hum, and i rarely hear the drive. the only time it makes a lot of noise is when im capturing video, or scrubbing really quickly in FCP.

Also, from an email I got from apple: Apple Expo will begin at 11 a.m. (CET) Tuesday, September 20 at the Porte de Versailles in Paris. There will not be a formal keynote presentation at this year's Apple Expo at Palais des Congr�s.
So I'm guessing that means no major releases. You may have to hold out a while longer for your multi-media 'Pod yet!

I did just that, threw my unused iPhone 4 sim in my new iPad 2 and got a nasty message this morning from AT&T basically telling me that I had 30 days to get a proper plan on it or I would be cut off.
I called AT&T and had them switch my iPhone 4 plan to the iPad post pay plan and it's all good!
I was actually surprised that they did it, but ask for a supervisor. The front line reps are not trained well on the new post pay plans.
If you just want to do it occasionally, you probably should be fine but just be aware that they can almost immediately tell if you switch em.

Hello all,
I had a hunch that this would only be a matter of time, and sure enough, it's happened. My November 2009 MacBook has officially begun to crack in a few areas on the case. The main cracking is on the rear of the computer where the hinge connects to the screen. There is also one crack beginning to form on the left side of my palm rest area. I wonder if apple will provide free replacements for this model as well. This makes me believe apple should just get rid of the plastics altogether.

Lineup reaches Blenz (Dunsmuir) from the side entrance to the mall (like the iPhone 4 launch). The store was packed, but they are pushing everyone out at 3:00pm.

Basically you are freeing memory you did not malloc/calloc. Your double returnElement within the last loop is requesting space to store a double. This will be on the stack. You are not mallocing or callocing the space for this double (if you did it'd be in the heap). You then memcpy into this space (which is fine: you are allowed to do that). You then free the space that is on the stack. You can't do that. You can't free on the stack. That is automatically done when the current stack frame is popped.
If that doesn't make sense (if you don't know what the heap and stack are for example) it's time to learn basic C properly...

Sorry but not going to go with the standard Apple coping crap here. Apple copies a lay out that was out for those web pages with flash games.
On top of that it looks a lot like the game folder on Windows Vista/7. On top of that MS called apple on saying App Store was generic looks like they are making the point even bigger now.
