If the case had been different, she was applying for H1 then she would have needed an approved petition first.

I have a Sony DSC F717. I got it to photograph model trains, so it is almost lways in macro mode. Frequently, the image blurs toawrds the back, even when set at the highest F-stop. The subject is usially about 5-12 inches away from the camera, depending on the model I am photographing. The models are about an inch high and up to 10 inches long.
I suspect a wide angle lense should help this, but sony has two available for their 58MM bezel. Am i right on this? Basically i want close up on full manual with
as good a depth of fied as possible. Here are the choises:

Your experiencing an effect called Depth of Field(DOF). This is commen and usally you want to minimize it for effect but not in your case.
You will need to learn to use a DOF calculator, there is one on this site but it does not include the 2/3" sensor sive you camera has. A better one for you right now may be this calculator here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikoncp5700/page2.asp
Using this you can determine the distance you need, focal length and distance to subject to obtain the desired DOF. Currently on the wide end of your camera, you'll need to move about a 1.5 feet from the focus point with f8 to get the DOF you desire. If you get the WA adaptor you'll be able to move closer to about .9 feet from the focus point and still obtain the DOF you desire.
You'll never be able to be within 5 inches from the object and obtain the DOF you desire, it simply is not possible with you camera. As to which WA adaptor to get? I don't know. I've never used anything of the sort so I can not answer that question for you.

Hi,
I�m in EB2 and My I-140 was approved September 2008 through Employer A. And I got laid off on November 2009 from EMP A, within 15 days I joined another Employer B. As per policy, employer B is not going to file GC for me. Already I spend 5 years on my H1B. I check with EMP A�s HR dept, they will not revoke my I-140 and H1B. I know AC21 is one of the options to transfer (Portability) my PD to Emp B after apply I-485.
It would be great if I get answer the below my Question:
1. If my PD is current, Will I eligible to apply I-485 using Employer A I-140 approved?
2. What are the documents needed from employer A, if I want apply I-485?
3. All my friends telling me, I can apply I-485, Is it true?

You can take any number of salary hike but not different job duties than specified in the labor. No need to inform the labaor department. Because as per law you cannot have different job duties until you get your gc and max one year beyond that.

On average if each undocumented pays $10,000/year taxes, it comes to additional revenue of $150 billion every year. This may not be enough to cover the cost of economic recovery, but it is still a substantial amount. Likewise, EB green cards could potentially bring in potential real estate buyers, which would help to bring back the economy.
The point is, immigration bill could be part of the economic agenda to revive the economy.

You can take an infopass appt at the local office and speak to an immigration officer. I know of a similar case where the USCIS officer said that the derivative 485 application is no longer valid after divorce, and the derivative application will be denied. He sent some email to the service center asking them to deny the derivative 485. The primary 485 was still approved - I don't know what happened to the spouse's application.
In any case as long as you are the primary applicant, and spouse is a derivative applicant- your 485 application will not be affected.

Reason: Employer didn't follow labor rules in paying for some of the other employees.
Employer is saying he will appeal the denial but few more questions.
I heard that while appeal is in process I can't work. Also, I still need to get the EAD. So how can I work legally ?
Can another employer file my H1 transfer in normal processing ? ( I will request my original employer that I will come back and work for him after I get the EAD, the reason for normal processing instead of premium is to get some time until I get EAD.)
Can I start work for the other employer from the day of the H1b filing or have to wait until I get the H1b approval ( my h1 already got expired ) ?
Will changing my employer after 485 is filed jeopardise my 485 process ? ( I have intention to come back to original employer after I get EAD).
Any suggestions ?
