That might put Cisco in its place, being that the 'i'Mac was introduced on May 6, of 1996.
Actually, it was 1998 (http://www.apple-history.com/?page=gallery&model=imac&performa=off&sort=date&order=ASC)
Even then, one could argue that Apple forfeited the right to all "i-products" when it didn't sue Compaq for the iPaq....

Would love for them to open a store near Lancaster or Harrisburg, but until then KOP is the closest. Dunno if I'm in the mood to pay tolls to get there, though. Having never been to a launch event, is it really worth it if I'm not going to buy it?

What I find interesting is that all the analysts are now coming out to say they are surprised about how well the Wii is doing given that they all predicted it do OK, when in my mind it was blatantly obvious for 6 months leading up to the launch that the Wii was going to be the next big thing. Goes to show that they just work off data and economic trends rather than actually looking at the products appeal.
I just knew that given the success of the DS that people were going to lap this thing up given the price and the unique controller, and it seems I have been right because the thing is sold out everywhere, and not because every kid wants one, but because every kids Mom wants one!

They were first with the most applications on Mac OS X and they've done more for optimisations on it?
Considering that their applications still don't work well, I have my doubts.
Still, we need them and Macromedia was forced to stop offering xRes when it just didn't sell as a competitor to Photoshop. Pity Live Picture.
Yes, Adobe has a good strategy but they're not as great as they would have everyone believe. We know that and they know that.

thermal paste is only applied/re-applied when your logic board and/or heatsink is removed from the computer. This is the last thing that comes out of the macbook, and even then is incredibly hard to muck up. I think your problem lies elsewhere

When Apple changed their name from Apple Computer to just Apple it was when they cared more about iPods and iPhones than the computer.

 Ok then. Diskradar says my disk is excellent, however it has had bad sectors before resulting in lockups and dataloss. It also doesn't let you run disk tests.
Ok, try Disktools Pro - you can run tests with that program.. or if you want REAL TIME diagnostics(something Apple lacks), run the drive diagnostics under windows 7 or boot into Hiren's disk utilities - there it will tell you if your disk is truly bad or warped.

The problem isn't necessarily a mac driver, but Apple's Acceleration Curve. It works perfectly with Apple Mice, but not so much with other's. Now assuming that your issue is tracking issue and not customizable buttons, then my solution will work for you. Download USB overdrive and install it. If I remember correctly, you will have to restart your mac after installation. Now their is a free and a paid version, the free will work just fine. After installation, you can change the settings under system preferences -> USB Overdrive.
In the picture below, you will see two sliders. I find it helpful to have the top slider near the far right, and the bottom slider near the far left. I believe I also set the mouse speed (found in the normal mouse settings) around the middle, but you can set it anywhere.
As far as mice with mac drivers, I recently purchased the Logitech wireless m510. I am normally picky when it come to mice, but I do enjoy using it. After installing the logitech driver and uninstalling USB Overdrive, the mice works nicely. I've only had it for a few days, but I love it.
Thanks much; I will download and try it out shortly!

I'll be heading to the Capitola store after work (5pm-ish). Hope they won't sell out. At least this in-store activation nonsense will stop people from buying to resell on ebay.

3)DC Cable
Original:
Color of DC cable is soft white or we say a little grey, and you can feel friction because the cable is not total smooth but rough.
http://forums.macrumors.com/picture.php?albumid=225&pictureid=711
Replacement:
Pure white and smooth, you cant even feel frication. But some factories also use original cables like ours to ensure the quality.
http://forums.macrumors.com/picture.php?albumid=229&pictureid=759
Its not only used in DC cables, also the same way for AC cables and earphone cables.

Get a gigabit switch. They're cheap. As well, many/most currently sold WiFi routers and cable modems/DSL routers have a built-in gigabyte switch.
To use the WiFi printer, the device that is printing does NOT have to connect to the WiFi router via WiFi. It can connect hard-wired. That means if the WiFi router has a gigabyte switch, the connection to other hard-wired devices will be gigabyte (assuming gigabyte capability in the other device.) So the WiFi speed is not an issue, except when printing. And the WiFi speed will be more than sufficient for printing. You'll also be able to print from both machines.
http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/3773/photoiw.jpg (http://img94.imageshack.us/i/photoiw.jpg/)
It's hooked up to my cable modem, the Mini and the router. Both the Mini and the router get external IPs, however the Mini is connected full speed, while you can't get more than 20% of the bandwidth through the router, doesn't matter whether you're connected via Ethernet or WiFi-n to it. I guess the Mini is somehow prioritized by the modem.
And no, I can't connect the router to the modem and the mini to the router - because this is a 110MBit/s DOCSIS3 connection and as stated, the router only has 100MBit/s ethernet ports. I could however connect the router to the Mini via the USB2.0 ethernet adapter intended for the MacBook Air, but I don't really want to dedicate any CPU to that at all.
Darwin: This is exactly what I wanted, and Ethernet was already on top of WiFi. Thanks.

ok fine sorry it ticked you off, but it was an innocent question. :(:(:(:(:(:(
maybe they should Post that discussion
No problem it's a forum after all I just think everyone needs to use the search feature a bit more instead of having loads of posts saying the same thing. Don't take it personally I didn't mean any offence by my responses I suppose we are all guilty of posting questions which have been answered before at some point.

I recently saw a pc with OSX running on it. And that's neat. I'm mainly a Windows user but I've remained respectful to Apple hardware but I can't stand OSX. It's stable and it's easy to use but I much rather prefer the unrestricted control a knowledgeable user can have over Windows. Thus leads me to my question;
Has anyone gotten or heard of anyone getting Windows to run on a Mac without an excruciatingly slow emulator? Is there any chance of this happening in the future?

[FONT="Verdana"]Don't worry had the same thing when in google pictures searching for German Art.
A good friend said it would be in the short term memory in Safari,(ie Ram/cache i think i am sure others will correct me, i am no whizz i just draw pretty pictures) so re boot the machine and it will be wiped.
Well that worked for me.
I had a simular panic the classic FFS reaction, when buried in research and time limits, thus stressed.

Have you tried this really helpful website and scrolled down?

Hint: look for size and weight
This does not show me the height from the bottom of the stand to the bottom of the glass/screen.....it only shows overall height. This is why I posted here.
