After some research my top 3 sorted options are:
1.- OCZ Vertex 2 120GB
2.- Intel X25-M 120GB
3.- Samsung 470 Series 128GB
I will be using it as my boot drive for Mac OS X 10.6.7, any suggestion which one would be the best option for speed ?, thanks

Is this any different than being in the forum and seeing the icon that shows a new post since you've posted?
Well... that's part of it. In your User CP it collects all of your subscribed threads in one place. It also displays the icon in Forum Spy.
And I do understand the said feature is not available but it would be great to have something to the extent of simple Facebook notifications.

Pretty harsh suggested response don't you think. In general it is relatively trivial for the mods to change a thread title, so if you think it is a problem then please report it and then we can assess the situation.
I don't see it all too often so am not sure that it is such a widespread problem that it needs to be written in to the rules

Well, that was my point...
It's equivalent to a 2 year old card. If you buy a top end desktop card today, it will last you 2 more years for sure, but the iMac has a 2 year old card already.
It's not a big deal to me because I know Diablo 3 will screen on a 6970M and there isn't really that much worth getting excited about. Worst thing is that in 2 years, you'll have to run at 2x AA instead of 8x AA or turn down the resolution.
With a Top Moblity Card such as the 6970m I have no fear that i will be able to run Witcher 2, Skyrim, MassEffect3, or any other game that will be released in the next 1,5 years at at least High and 1080p...with no AA of course.
I dont understand why one would waste GPU power with AA; max. AA i use is 2x.

A 2TB Seagate ST32000541AS on my 3.4GHz i7 with 2GB 6970M. I have not been able to get any details of this drive on Seagate's website.

I was worried that'd be the case. I reckon you're best bet might be to take it back to Apple quickly if it's not too much trouble for you. They should be very good about fixing it considering it stopped working under their watch. Sorry I can't be more helpful. :o

It is pretty bumpy on most of the tracks in the UK I think.
The Northern Line isn't too bad on that front. The worst line is definitely the Metropolitan, on which you sometimes find it difficult to stay in your seat it jumps around so much.

I0n1c untethered jailbreak bug has not been fixed in the just released iOS 4.3.3 firmware, according to comex.

This is excellent news for jailbreakers as they will soon be able to perform an untethered jailbreak of iOS 4.3.3.
As usual we recommend you wait before updating and make sure to save your SHSH blobs.

The MBPs get updated far more often than the MP, so they "age" quicker, decreasing their resale value. Almost two MBPs a year, whereas the Mac Pro gets update every what, 18 months?
The fact that you can't upgrade a notebook has already been said.
Pop in two 3GHz quad cores, 16GB RAM, a 5870 and some SSDs in a 2006 Mac Pro and you still have a more than decent machine for the vast majority of tasks.
A 2006MBP, however, is pretty much done these days. A maximum of 2GB RAM and a SATA 1.5Gb/s interface make this machine not impossible to upgrade, by beyond practicality.

Wake me up when they lose the #1 title. Besides, all the cable news channels are crap here. From Beck's nonsense to Chris Matthews getting a tingle up his leg with Obama, I've found little worth paying for. Dropped cable last year, and haven't missed the news channels a bit. (All I'm left wanting is coverage of my local MLB team).

I've got the IceKey and like it. Much better than the "standard" Apple keyboard. The action is very "crisp". It's a bit like the keyboard of a Powerbook. I'd go with it. As I recall it wasn't that expensive either. Cheers
