Get a gigabit switch. They're cheap. As well, many/most currently sold WiFi routers and cable modems/DSL routers have a built-in gigabyte switch.
To use the WiFi printer, the device that is printing does NOT have to connect to the WiFi router via WiFi. It can connect hard-wired. That means if the WiFi router has a gigabyte switch, the connection to other hard-wired devices will be gigabyte (assuming gigabyte capability in the other device.) So the WiFi speed is not an issue, except when printing. And the WiFi speed will be more than sufficient for printing. You'll also be able to print from both machines.

It's hooked up to my cable modem, the Mini and the router. Both the Mini and the router get external IPs, however the Mini is connected full speed, while you can't get more than 20% of the bandwidth through the router, doesn't matter whether you're connected via Ethernet or WiFi-n to it. I guess the Mini is somehow prioritized by the modem.
And no, I can't connect the router to the modem and the mini to the router - because this is a 110MBit/s DOCSIS3 connection and as stated, the router only has 100MBit/s ethernet ports. I could however connect the router to the Mini via the USB2.0 ethernet adapter intended for the MacBook Air, but I don't really want to dedicate any CPU to that at all.
Darwin: This is exactly what I wanted, and Ethernet was already on top of WiFi. Thanks.

I've been adding articles of products announced at Macworld, but it seems it doesn't work for products with an apostrophe in their name. I added both iLife '06 and iWork '06, but neither of those pages show are world editable, regardless of whether I use "%27" or "'" in the links. Is this fixable arn?

I found these ones to be a bit shoddily done. The transition from the Zipcar app to the scene of the car behind the phone is jumpy. Also, the music playing in the background of the Shazam scene wasn't really transitioned smoothly. They choose an awkward part of the song to start.

I maintain servers and enterprise applications from an infrastructure perspective. I'm involved in upgrading two of those enterprise applications at once and I'm on a tight dead line :(

I had a similar experience at Somerset in Michigan. I walked out after 4 hours when only 20 people had been processed. It was really disheartening. I agree that they should have either scrapped the walk-in line or processed them at an equal speed until the 100 or so phones they had were gone. Employees kept encouraging us that it would only take "a few hours" in the walk-in line, too. It was just such an unfair process. Why do walk-ins at all? Ugh.
I called the store today, and of course they "got a new shipment." Pretty disgusted with Apple right now. I get having a low supply to increase demand, but do you really need to tease the people who are so loyal to your company that they show up hours before your store opens? Cruel.

My impulse would be to simplify it, the little touches like the leaves and the mains plug, add to a sense of disorganisation. Personally, I'd start with a solid green and leave off the white swash at the bottom unless that's a critical part of the branding.
Prioritize the key words.
I'm going to confirm the same message.
I was particularly bothered by the bottom swoop. And since this has to do with e-waste, clean and technical is the way to go... no need for any leaves.
The main message is FREE E-Waste Recycling HERE... it's not an ad for a service, it's a signal to people that right HERE is where you drop e-waste off for FREE. So I'd definitely make those two aspects very clear. Arrows can help reinforce that, but it needs a little work.
The e-waste part is more difficult. What exactly is e-waste? Do batteries count? You can't explain all of that in a simple sign. So while I like the idea of adding a few icons to help illustrate what e-waste is, I think they could be much smaller.
Another thing that I'm missing here is availability. Can I just drive up and drop things off anytime I like? Are there specific hours or days this is open? If so, is that information clearly available elsewhere or does it need to be included?
They say a picture is worth a thousand words... but sometimes a word is worth a thousand pictures. Once you use the word "Recycling" you don't need to include the recycling symbol. You certainly don't need to give it such prominence.
I hope that helps some. Now that you've gone cross-eyed starring at this thing for so long, we just gave you number of reasons to stare at it a while longer. Sorry. Designers will do that to you. :o

True... unfortunately, I'm not sure what's possible, so I don't really know!
I should imagine the G5 could act as some kind of central storage for the other Macs for iTunes, Photographs etc - but that's just some kind of glorified NAS box. I'm just curious at this point really, how else could it be used?

Why...?
16 MP in a phone for what?
Because they ran out of ideas.
When all else fails just slam a bigger camera in there. Just play the specs game. Never mind the software ecosystem.

I feel like apple should have let the people who actually got to preorder pick up today, to lower the crowds. Also the people who have reserved phones that are camping are morons. Your gettig it as long as you show up, why waste a whole night up? The answer to play with it all day makes no sense because most of us already have os4 and in reality once you play with FaceTime and the new camera it's not that different.

The Macbook is the low end Mac laptop. Its great for productivity, etc. However I would suggest getting a high end imac 27" with the 1GB ATI video chip for gaming. I don't do much gaming anymore, but its the video card, or video chip that makes most of the difference when it comes to good graphics.
I know that the Mac Books do not do well with heavy graphics, and were never meant to be gaming machines. Laptops in general were never really meant for gaming as is. The mac Book pro may be a better choice as far as laptops go.
If you run windows through Boot Camp, you will have no problems that you wouldn't experience on any windows machine. Like crashing, freezing and needing to shut down and reboot from sleep, viruses that never stop coming, and all the other wonderful things that go with Windows.
If you want great gaming experiences go buy a PS3, there set up just for that.

I suppose, but I still don't dance on mondays, tuesdays, and either friday, saturday.
5 times a week is my limit, I don't want to hurt myself or anything. :p
I don't have to worry about hitting that though. Mondays and Tuesdays are very busy days for me, and I usually pass out at the end of the day.
