Even though the immigration is the highest priority for all of us on this web site, that is not the same with Mr. President elect. He has to take care of other pressing issues like economy, Iraq war etc. first.
Therefore, I don't think it would be worthwhile to spend our resources for at least 6 more months. Once he settles down in the office and other things start moving, we can try at that time.

Anyone else is like me - My 9th yr H extension was receipted from VERMONT on Jan9th '08 and its almost June 9th '08 and I'm still "Pending"... The peoples i know of got it in 2-3 months , worst case is 4 months.
Earlier i had Extension from VERMONT within 1-2 months , don't know what special stuff they have found for me this time !! :rolleyes:

I applied for H1 extension in June'07. I got RFE on I94 first & then one more on my consulting company. Both were responded on time.. Finally, I got a denial notice on my H1 recently stating that my education background is not Computer Science related although i hold a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. Am very upset after hearing this.
I have few questions for the experts here.
1. Is it possible for me now to apply for new H1 thru some other company?
2. Can i re-appeal the decision and stay here legally?
3. Are there any good attorneys that can give me good advice for me to take the next step?

Hi Sunny1000...Thanks for your reply and I have moved down a day and going to get in on Jun24th, that will get me 3 days...Just to be safe. I have read other threads with immig.voice and most of them are saying technically they can get in on last /Final Day of the Validity.

To elaborate on that, S.Korea happens to be on the forefront of technological innovations. Highest per capita broadband use, highest per capita cellphone use...land of samsung and Hyundai

Since there are so many applications filed by the time they go for this check your data may have been purged ( this is a very high possiblity ) as by the time this request is made it would december or so . As i heard that TSC will issue recipts by Oct End ,beofer cross checking g235A there are many checks and many other processes they need to follow. So this is a possiblity.

I would send in a notorized affidavit from the parents stating that the right name is so and so and that the regitered name in birth certificate was in-correct. you can send in some more supporting docusmnrts like , school / collge graduation cdertificates...wonder why u have the wrong name in marrigae certifcate,,,birth certificates I understand, but why is it wrong in marriage certificate?

Today is a great day in IV history!
We filed our AOS last week (EB3 PD Jan 2007). My wife is currently pregnant and so she could not take all the vaccinations that are required in the medicals. She did the other required medicals though.
My question: Will this cause our applications to be denied? OR will they allow my wife to get the shots after our baby is born?
Anyone with experience please help.

As long as you can submit your wife's pregnency certificate, you are OK. Besides, since your case will take at least 5 years to get the approval, you don't need to bother about RFEs.:-)

I am trying to figure out the same and after rigorous communication with my lawyer and a few companies, I came to an estimate that it may take anywhere between, atleast 12-18 mnths on a thumb rule. Again, I understand its on a case by case basis.

The only advantage now is if lawsuit wins then people who has submitted will be better position but i dont recommend submitting now as the current situations will help if at all it is , for who applied before July 2.
